State Visit to the Republic of India 05-11-2017 to 11-11-2017

Their Majesties the King & Queen of Belgium have embarked on a State visit to India from the 5th to the 11th of November 2017.

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium are accompanied by the Minister-Presidents of the Belgian regions of Wallonia, Flanders and Brussels along with a large official, business and academic delegation comprising people from over a 100 companies and universities.

The visit marks 70 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The delegation will be visiting New Delhi and Mumbai with a focus on strengthening diplomatic ties between the two countries and signing several MoUs in the field of business and academia.

There are several events taking place on the occasion of this visit including seminars in the fields of Food Processing, Sustainable Cities, Heavy Industries, Smart Cities, Lifesciences and Healthcare. These events will highlight various Belgian innovations taking place in the focus sectors.
