Heavy Industry in Belgium

Based on decades of manufacturing in the heavy industry, Belgium has acquired a vast knowledge and expertise in the fields of Cement, Steel, & Railways. A large number of Belgian companies are supplying niche products and innovative technologies to these sectors. These advanced technologies are being used by industries to optimise their production, reduce their environmental footprint, improve their maintenance, increase their energy efficiency, recycle more, and reduce downtime, among other things.

The inaugural session, followed by the two sub-sessions presented Belgian knowledge and expertise in advanced technologies in the Cement, Steel & Railway sectors and helped in creating awareness among the Indian industry about Belgian innovations in these areas.

These areas were expertly dealt with by the industry experts from Belgium present at the event.
